Orchid Mania

Orchid Mania started in October of 1993. I had lost my job and had no idea of what I wanted to do. Thanks to my husband, Jack, who held my hand and led me into the world or orchids. As for my usual manner, I kicked and screamed until I opened my eyes and fell in love all over again with my husband... and orchids. We started small, with one green house and a booth in a flea market. Sixteen years later, I am still learning and still have my passion. I want to share it with you. We now have a beautiful ten acre home and business, and as many kinds of orchids that I can find to grow. Please come and see. You won't be disappointed.

		Orchid Mania is nestled on ten acres of trees and ponds in the quiet countryside where more than 50,000 orchids are grown and sold at reasonable prices to wholesalers and to the public.

		Since 1993, the orchid-growing business has 'blossomed' into 15,000 square feet of nursery/greenhouses. We arejust east of Interstate 75 in eastern Manatee County.
